AcaiBerryExclusive.com Took just under 160 pounds off credit card for "free trial"

Advert on front page of hotmail, decided to give AcaiBerry and ColonCleanse a try-out. While ordering, I recall no tick-box for "T&Cs", but do remember that the postage-free code I entered did not work 3 times, and now believe this was a distraction.

Got 2 containers, one with 60 capsules and one with 120 capsules. These two small items (high retail value of circa 24 at most) were charged to the credit card I gave them permission to take the two lots of 1 - but at 79 each!!!

I called them, asking why this was the case, and apart from 2 calls, both with customer service agents who from the first second make you feel as though they deal with complaining customers every single day, hence "totally not interested" tone of voice... I was told that in the T&C's I had 15 days to call them and state "something" and in that case I would have received the capsules for free.

This is just shocking... Am going to take previous report writers advice and take this up with Trading Standards, Consumer Direct and the police.

160 makes the difference as to whether I can buy school clothes for my kids, and this company is obviously intending to rip people off, hire 'cold' CS agents to deal with those who are not happy, and sit back and see money rolling into their accounts.

This is the world we live in, and whilst some get rich in a disgusting manner, the rest of us struggle on.

Anyone who works for this company should be ashamed of themselves.
