Price increase after purchase

In May of this years I had 3 perscriptions filled from my physician at my local Rite Aid. These were new prescriptions that I had never had before. Later the same day I picked up these perscriptions filled.

In June I was contacted by the pharmacy manager who stated that I was not charged properly for the perscriptions and owed them another $70. She claims that when the perscriptions were picked up some sort of error occurred with their system and the full amount due wasn't charged.

She has now threatened to no longer permit me to pickup perscriptions unless I pay this $70 she claims I owe.

I can't see how this can be legal... Can anyone offer any advice? This is a small town and Rite aid is the only pharmacy we have, I would have to travel to another town to get my perscriptions filled.
