Do not order from this company - and don't give credit card info for sure

On 7/8/09, I ordered their Dual Action cleanse by phone 800 941-0163. Within a few hours (after seeing negative blogs online), I called to cancel my order. I was told I couldn't cancel my order & to call in 24-48 hrs when my order was in the computer. I called & when it was in the computer, I said I wanted to cancel the order. I was told I could not cancel it.

I said I'd dispute their charge immediately after it appears on my credit account & would return the package to sender immediately upon rec'g it. I was then told I could not just return the package without first calling for an RMA # and that I would have to pay postage to return it. I said that since I was told the order wouldn't be shipped for 3 or 4 weeks, it seemed easier to just cancel it but they said it was shipping right away. I also said to make sure that auto ship is cancelled also. She said auto ship was not on my order, although the girl I ordered from said it was and to call within a day or two to have it cancelled if I didn't want it.

I continued to monitor my credit account and didn't see any charge. I then rec'd a call from them but they hung up as soon as I said I was who they asked for. I called them back & the person who looked up my account said that someone had called to find out why I had cancelled my order. Someone else called the following day to try to send me something else & I said my order had been cancelled. He agreed with me but said he hadn't noticed that.

Then, lo & behold today I check my credit card balance & found that they had indeed charged my credit card for $99.65. I promptly called the credit card company & disputed the charge. Now, I will have to go through the trouble of returning the parcel when it arrives & will have to get tracking #, etc., so that will cost me.

I rec'd another call from them today & told them if I had anything to do with it, this company would be shut down forever & that I did not want to talk to them ever again. I now feel it necessary to cancel that credit card as I know this company by now & have read enough blogs to be sure these are the biggest scammers I've run across in a long time. I found so much negative stuff on this company & the owner, Klee Irwin, that it was pathetic. I read that there were many complaints lodged against this company through the BBB in L.A. I contacted them online & found that over 700 complaints had been filed and yet this BBB gave them an A - rating review. I have written them to say that they should change the rating to a D - or F. What a disservice they are doing to consumers by rating them an A-.

I would like to know how to proceed to get this company shut down as I don't think they should be allowed to operate. I have written the t.V. Station that I saw their infomercial on and told them my story & hopefully they will not let these infomercials air again.

So, beware of this company and do not order this product for any reason. There are many blogs saying people actually got sick from it and many, many blogs saying how people were unable to cancel & actually lost money because of it. At least do a search "complaints Klee Irwin Health Products" and read all about it.
