AG Skincare
Misleading advertising tactics & customer service not processing cancellations

Health & Medicine

I ordered, via the net, a "trial" of the AG Skincare regeneration product. Per their website, I only had to pay shipping in the amount of roughly $6.00. Once I received the product, the shipping label inclosed indicated that I had 15 days in which to try the product and then cancel it in order stop an automatic deduction in the amount of roughly $55.00 from my account. I called within 15 days and requested to cancel my membership. The customer service rep pushed repeatedly to "give me more time to try the product" and refused to cancel the membership, telling me he was extending the trial and I was to either call or ship the bottle back to the company and my expense by the 20th of May. I ended up just keeping the product and figured I would just eat the $55.00 one time payment. However, I did confirm, again with customer service, that my membership and account had been cancelled and closed so that no further shipments would be made.

On June 10 I received at charge to my account in the amount of $66.90 from AG Skincare. I immediately called customer service again, who claimed that their "system" did not indicate I had requested my membership be cancelled and that the shipment had already been shipped. After an extensive discussion on refunding my money, I was finally given an RGA number that I have to write on the package—once it arrive at my house—and then ship it back to AG Skincare. When they receive the package, "allegedly" they will process my refund in the amount of $66.90. Needless to say, I will be shipping the package back with signature receipt required. I did file a report with the BBB the same day.
