I order what I thought was a free trial sample of this tooth whitening product. I knew I was paying ONLY for shipping and handling so I expected the charge for $9.99 on my credit card. I received my small trial sample in the mail about a week later. About a week later the fraud department from my bank called and suspected that there were fraudulant charges made to my credit care the night before and the morning of their call. I explained that I made no such purchases and did not even recognize the Company name. These charges were for 9.99,88.99 and two charges for 79.99 made by the same company on the same day. All charges were for this tooth whitening promotion.

My bank tells me that I may not even recover these charges because I did in fact do business with this company by ordering the trial offer. When I called the Ivory Brite company directly, they were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. They told me that I did not read the small print saying that I needed to end my membership within 14 days to not be charged the above amounts. I told them that I NEVER even signed up for a membership. I ordered a free sample of the product. Still, no help. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The operator told me that he WAS the supervisor.

Needless to say, I got nowhere with a refund and am now out a lot of money for ordering a free sample. Isn't there something we can do to file a massive complaint againt this company. I know I'm not the only consumer who's been ripped off by them. They should not be allowed to do business this way. It's got to be illegal and at the very least UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE.
