Nutralane Slim Seduction, Nutralane, Slim Seduction GNS, Inc. Free Trial is a Scam

Do not deal with this company. I ordered a free trial of Slim Seduction, paying $3.97 for S/H. Terms stated I would have 21 days to EVALUATE the product before I would be billed for the product and that the 21 day period included transit time. However, I never received the product and my credit card company had to get involved to prevent them from charging my account because I cannot evaluate a product I do not have.

Over the last three weeks, I have been given the run-around by numerous customer service agents. I was also given a phony USPS tracking number that supposedly proved they had actually shipped something. I was told that product had shipped on multiple dates, that my "free trial" would be extended 30 days (but my card would still be billed), and lots of excuses and double-talk. The highlight was being hung-up on by Steven, the self-described Call Center Manager. Not surprisingly, he refused to give me his last name or an ID number. Steven was apparently upset that I had inquired as to their business standing with the Colorado Secretary of State - there is no record of the company on file - and I must have hit a nerve.

The Catch-22 is that the company apparently will not ship the product until after the 21-day trial expires. This prevents the customer from canceling during the trial period and enables the company to bill the credit card. My guess is that shipping is deliberately delayed to prevent the customer from returning the product and canceling before the charges can process.

Additionally, this company will not voluntarily issue a refund unless you return the product you are unhappy with. My question is, how does a customer return a product that was never sent to them? Answer: You can't - and this is how GNS/Nutralane attempts to make their money.

The good news for me is that my credit card company is satisfied that the company is a scam after they talked to a representative and will be applying refunds to my account. They will also be monitoring my account for any attempted future billings from this company. Of course, I cannot be reimbursed for lost time, frustration, disappointment, etc., but life lessons do not come entirely free of charge.

Please know that if you have used a major credit card, your bank will fight for you to obtain a refund and reverse charges.

Protect yourself from this company by taking notes when talking to company representatives. Notify the company of your intent to cancel in writing and keep copies. Make sure to obtain a return authorization number before returning any product to them, assuming you actually received a product, and get a tracking number or they will probably deny getting it.

I encourage everyone that has been victimized by this company to file a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Office and the Colorado Secretary of State - as I mentioned before, there are no records showing that GNS, Inc. Is an active corporation in the State of Colorado.

Since I never received the product, I can't tell you if it works or not. But judging from what I've learned since ordering, I would not take the chance to try it.
