Moved away, would not cancel membership without charging large fee

The Platinum Center is a sham. They never sent me a membership card, after I had signed up. They NEVER instructed me on proper use of the equipment. They NEVER showed any interest in my training, (unless you wanted a personal trainer). While the facilities are nice, they used a shady method of salesmanship, and when I had to move away for another job, they would not cancel my membership without charging an exorbitant fee.

I sent them a cease and desist letter, to which I'm waiting to see if they try to draft my account again.
