Not hipaa compliant violates ethical principles - medical coders, health insurers-arcadian< southcountry

All Medicare and Medical assisitance beneficiaries beware if your insurer conducts business with this organization. This organization does not properly train their staff in HIPAA compliance nor do they secure personal information of data that is sent to their organizations. HDE's CFO even sent an email that is on the web verifying that they need a HIPAA training in place, however as of the date they had already sent unsecure data of thousands of clients across the world wide web.

They lie to companies and tell them that they have certified medical coders when in fact they will use almost anyone that can code as they had uncertified coders performing this last sweep CMS audits especially in Minnesota. The total number of certified coders that they have is 3. They lie to clients telling them that they have completed HEDIS audits when the fact is, that they do not even have an abstraction tool.in addition, th

They have left coders stranded in other states without activated company credit cards, they lie about reiumbursing you for your expenses or either it may take centuries to get your money, they even have the audacity to ask you to steal from other companies...

This company is scary and their unethical practices speak volumes. HEED my warning do not do business with them or work from them as you might not get paid or reimbursed for you rexoenses that you incur on their behalf.
But most important they are not hipaa compliant with anybody to include employees
