My Choice Medical
Took my money and will not give me a refund!

I was looking to have plastic surgery. But the cost of the surgery was very expensive. I came across a webpage that said doctors say yes. I read the webpage and decided to have them contact me. Customer service rep called me and answered the questions that I had at the moment. She told me that she had to do a application fee which was $25 to run my credit. I said ok. She ran it and said that i was approved for 10,000 and that i can increase my credit limit if i want to. I said ok thank you. The she said ok well lets get you booked in for a consult.

She found a doctor. His name is Dr. Greco and she asked me have I heard of the Georgia Plastic institute for plastic surgery. I said yes. I then told her thats great because im getting a breast reduction done through the military and Dr. Paletta is my doctor for that surgery and he works there. She said well your all set. She then said ok now all I need is a one time $199 fee for your consult. I said well I wont pay that today ill pay it on the 15th. She said fine. I authorized them to deducted it from my account on the 15th. I did even more research and had a change of heart. I decided that i didnt want to go through with the procedure.

So I called doctors say yes earlier in the morning to cancel. She even mentioned to me that when they took the money out it wouldnt be till that day later on. I said ok. Well i checked my account and called my bank and asked them is there a hold on my account or is something pending for $199. My bank said no. So I called them. The same lady answered the phone. I said maam I want to cancel the consult. She said Im sorry but we already took the money out. And that its not refunded. So I said fine Ill just do it. Sure enough I checked my account it was gone. I went to my consult. Dr. Greco told me that he would be able to do my procedure. I sat down and talked to my choice medical. She told me it was $800 dollars for an appointment. My loan was for 6000 and my monthly payments would be 173.00. I was going over the papers asking her questions. I asked her if it was refundable she stated yes it is.

So i went ahead and agreed. I then went with Dr. Grecos assistant. She said ok when do you want to have your surgery I need $250. Im like for what? She said you have to pay for this special garnment and pictures. I said I will pay for the garnment but not the pictures. She said I had to get the pictures. I told her wait a minute and I went back to talk to the my choice medical rep. She told me dont worry you have a year. I said ok and told them ill wait. Im a single mother in the us. Army. That is where I get my income. I will no longer be able to stay in due to I have no one to watch my child when i depoly over seas to iraq or afghanastain. So there for I will lose the income to support this surgery.

I then called customer service it rung and then went to an answer machine. I left a message. Someone called me back and I explained my situation. She said im sorry to hear that but your money is not refundable. I said well maam I was told by the my choice rep that I saw that it was refundable. She said yes you could get your money back if it is a medical issue and they cant do the surgery. I told her that I would not be able to afford this surgery. How can you keep my money that i paid and I havent even had the surgery? She said im sorry. I told her I would like to talk to your manager. She gave me the number. But when I call it rings and then tells me to leave a message and then nobody returns my call.

Its sad that this company is ripping off united states citizens let alone military people who are fighting for your freedom. Its bad enough we are fighting a war we dont want to but thats how we make are income but its even worst when your own people rip you off! All I ask it that my choice medical give me back all my money. My $25 for application fee, $199 for consult, and $800 for appointment and as well as others who lost there money in this company.
