Homeland HealthCare
Did not return membership fee within specified 30 day cancellation period

Health & Medicine

I signed up for a trial membership in the Homeland HealthCare Program on January 13 to give me a chance to review their health coverage. I paid $220.00 for a membership fee (that I was told would be refunded within the first 30 days if I cancelled) and a one-time $75.00 non-refundable fee for a total of $295.00. The coverage was to begin on February 1. After receiving the paperwork they sent me, I found it was not what I was told on the coverage and I sent them a Cancellation Request Form that was included in their packet. I called them to make sure they received it via fax number, and a representative told me it had been and I would get my $220.00 in the next payout. When I did not receive anything in February, I wrote them a letter on March 18th requesting my refund and have not heard anything from them as of this date. They ripped me off for $220.00!!
