Tinley Park Disgusting!

I joined La Fitness of Tinley Park in 2008 at the begining of the year and back then the gym was clean and actually had a staff on hand to keep the gym clean, but like everywhere else, the gym management decided to lay off their entire cleaning staff creating this current state that this gym is in. Piss is all over the floor in the locker room bathroom making the floor so slick that I actually slipped and slammed my shoulder into the wall, there is rarely any toilet paper so people just wipe their asses on the walls apparently, crap is usually smeared all over the toilet seats, the showers are typically moldy and you can find things like bloody band aids, toe nail clippings, ear q-tips, and lots of other goodies in them. Yesterday, in the locker room area I got to find a blood soaked rag laying on the floor next to an old shoe box that had been laying there for the past week along with snot rags, someone's old socks, and dirty skid marked underwear. Yes, this place has really gotten this bad!

Lockers are continually getting broken into, so much so that Tinley Park police should just consider setting up an office in the place as they are continually there taking reports from people who have had their wallets stolen, IPODs ripped off, among other things, yet of course the gym takes no resposibility for any of this.

Out in the weight room it is not much better. Their lone weight re-racker has been let go and of course has not been replaced, so like everywhere else in this dump, the weight room is a complete mess now with weights laying all over the place making it an actual danger just to walk around in the place.

I would avoid this place at all costs! It has gotten disgusting there!
