Misinformation and unfair billing

I was billed inappropriately 5 months after receiving treatment and the clinic refused to correct the bill. I was first informed that the sessions would be $0 cost to me - they called in front of me to "confirm with my insurance" supposedly. I learned 5 months after treatment ended when I started receiving bills that it actually ended up coming out of my deductible. They also over-billed my sessions - by telling me up front each session would be half and hour but then billing me for 45 min to 60 min sessions. They also encouraged me to get further sessions for another ailment - strongly pushing that I might as well since it was free/included in my insurance. Again, the bills arrived so late that ALL the additional services has been rendered before I even knew I was responsible for paying them. When I contested the time allotments, they said their therapists always bill time correctly and refused to believe me. On top of that, I was the last patient of the day so there was no patient scheduled after to 'prove' my sessions were only 30 minutes. These practices are misleading and unethical regardless of whether I was paying or my insurance was paying. This clinic is lying about the length of sessions and 'selling' their clients on 'free' services instead of being transparent and open about costs at the beginning.
