Donna Taylor Fired me because I was injured and filed a worker's comp claim

Health & Medicine

I worked in the activities department of this nursing facility. Every Tuesday we took residents out on a Scenic Ride. I drove the 12 passenger handicap bus. The residents we took out were all afflicted by Alzeheimers at various levels. There was no one on the bus but me, (the driver) amd these residents. Sound dangerous... Yeah... It was!!!
I was not trained to drive the bus and was basically tossed on the bus by my supervisor and told, "you'll do fine".
On Dec. 9th I was seriously injured on one of these rides. I went back to work on "light duty" and worked until 12/23/08. That day I took a doctors note in with a RX for an MRI. The doctors note took me off duty until 1/4/09, Basically, until he could get the results back from my MRI.
When I went to work on 12/23, my supervisor sweet talked me into staying at work and entering data into the system. I agreed and at 4:30pm was called in to the administrators office, (Donna Taylor) and fired. The reason was that I did not properly report the incident. Although I reported the incident to my supervisor as my handbook directed me to do... That was apparently not enough. Also, there was another employee on the bus trip and involved in the incident. She did not file a formal report either, but she is a black woman... And still has her job, I am white. I also have a tape recording of the meeting when I was fired... These people stumble, contridict each other and basically sound like a bunch of fools.
Basically, because I was injured and filed for Worker's Comp, I was fired and now EMA's insurance company PMA, in Pennsylvania is saying that they don't owe me any TTD.
While I worked for EMA. I witnessed abuse and neglect and reported it on a regular basis... Nothing was done..
I can't understand why the Espiscopal Church allows this to go on. I guess they are just another money grubbing bunch too.
I have been without income since 12/23/08, these people have denied my benefits and put me so far behind the 8 ball I don't know what I am going to do... And all in the name of their "faith based ministry" and God.
I would not trust them with my cat, much less my mother, father or grandparents...
THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!
In closing... Any woman who would kick her children and family to the curb to climb the corporate ladder... Isn't worth much... And certainly not to be trusted... Liike them... I'm just another victim.
And I really need my WC Payments.
