Rudeness lazy careless Rip-off

I have been a customer of Robib's at the Hair Cuttery for close to two years. Robin is wonderful but every time I am in there she has been doing a hundred other things. I never minded though because she was such a sweet person and I loved the way she did my hair. I have referred over five people to her! Today I called and asked whomever answered the phone if Robin could trim my hair at 6:15. She hesitated and then said yes.

At around 4:00, I called back and asked whomever answered the phone if I could also get highlights. She asked me to hold on so that she could ask Robin. I asked what time Robin got off and she told me 9:00. I asked why she couldn't have my hair done in almost 3 hours!

The lady got back on the phone and said that tonight was not a good night because there was only two people working and if she did highlights on me then it would only leave one person to do hair. It is only a light highlight and trim! I said, "that is not my problem that you are understaffed or did not have enough people on the schedule!

What I don't understand is if she is a hair dresser scheduled to work then why can't she do my hair even if it takes up her time. What is she there for? I have told my family and friends about this and they will not be going to the Hair Cuttery in Avenues Mall again.

I had my friend call and ask if she could have highlights tonight and they told her that they weren't taking appointments, but that she could walk in. I would think that as a business, their clients that have been there for a while would have some kind of priority over people who just walk in. I do understand that it is a walk in hair business but the way I was treated today was not right!
