We took our dog to be tested. Elizabeth Long was nowhere to be found. A lady with Sunglasses and electric hair job told us she was a tech and was studying to be a vet. She took out information and made us pay two hundred dollars cash deposit. We left the dog for testing—only. Every few hours we tried to reach Dr. Long. She never came to the phone and never answered our call. We went to the "clinic" the next morning. Our yellow lab had was laying on the counter with her head hung over the side drooling. Another lady said that Elizabeth Long was too busy to talk to us but that the dog needed to go to a specialist. There were some in a nearby city. The additional bill came to $450.00.

We took the animal to the emergency clinic where it stayed the weekend. On Monday the Emergency vet said that she had never seen such neglect and suggested that we report it to the licensing board—we have.

The emergency vet referred us to a clinic nearby. It has taken work but the dog is ok now. The doctors at the new clinic say that Elizabeth Long has fights going with a good many people.

Lesson: Call the emergency clinics in your area for a referral if you are new to town like us.
