I went in to Florida Tan center to get one month of tanning for $24.88. I gave them my debit card for the verification that I am 18 years of age. I signed papers believing that they were for liability after all that is what the lady said. The lady never mentioned that I was going to be in a contract for a year or even mentioning that $24.88 was automatically deducted from my account every month. I contacted the corporate office and the lady named Mindy was very RUDE. She stated rudely that I should have looked at what I signed and this is a learning lesson for me. Even I and a friend read the papers and it was all about the liability rules of the company. They then proceeded to have me sign something on the little computer signer (which I could not see). As a client I should trust that company is hiring employees that are professional and worthy. They will not let me out of the contract and I was over drawn not even knowing that they took the money out. It has effected me in a very negative way. Not only to mention that the beds are not always clean and the tanning beds don't work properly. I do not think that they are very safe considering that they make strange sounds and you can hear the glass cracking. Out of the 4 times of tanning I had sweet in my bed 2 times.
