Lifekey Health rip-off billing bottle quantities & "reformulation"

Got on their "autoship" program (they do this automatically) and forgot to cancel. I was reminded of this when I saw the charge appear on my credit card bill. My credit card had been charge 10 days earlier even though I had not received any product in the mail yet.

Canceling meant waiting on hold while their computer voice mail system started by telling me that the wait would be approximately 7 minutes. And then proceeded to add five minutes about every 5 minutes until my estimated wait was up to 18 minutes (after already being on hold for 10!). I stuck it out. When I finally reached someone, they told me the product had been shipped already so it was too late to cancel that autoship, but they would discontinue future shipments.

I did received any product until TWO WEEKS after I had called. The postmark on the shipment was just three days previous, so I was lied to when told the product had already been shipped and could not be canceled.

To add insult to injury, the shipment only contained half as much product as it was supposed to.instead of two 60 count bottles I received two 30 count bottles along with a letter stating that since they were such nice folks, they were including one of the bottles for FREE. Essentially meaning that without warning, they QUADRUPLED the price of their product (30 tablets for the same price as 120 tablets in the first order). I called to complain and they said they reformulated the product so now you take less, only one per day. But the instructions already said 1 per day of the old formula.

They then put me on hold and came back later and said oh after thinking about it, just take 1 every other day!!! What a ripoff! There is no indication anywhere that they reformulated the product (which I personally dont believe that they did). I am in the process now of trying to get them to take the product back and credit my card, but I am not optimistic. And I notice these guys are still running two page ad spreads in many prominent magazines!!!
