I signed up for ins. It took 2 days to take payment out of my check to cancel the ins. It takes up to 3 wks to cancel

I work for a temp service. My husband was going to be layed off from his job.
So i signed up for ins. Thru my employer, for the both of us. It took less then a week to have my first payment taken out. At that point I found out how much they took out of my check which was half of my pay check. I called Aenta customer service that day to cancel ins. From coming out of my check they informed me it could take up to 3 wks. To cancel. Iwant to know why it takes less then a week to sign up but 3 wks. To cancel thats not right.
