Wu Yi Source Tea
Offered free 14-day trial of tea which would be billed in 14 days, not debited from account in 14 days

Health & Medicine

I incurred two sets of unauthorized charges. The tea is nice, in my opinion. I was set to pay for it as soon as possible at the end of the month of August. I was told they would bill me in 14 days and I figured I have a couple of weeks to pay one the bill is received. No, they deducted it from my account on that said 14th day. I had already cancelled auto-ship orders during two previous phone calls to the company. So, it remains to be seen whether I will received another order which I will send back. As I said, the tea is nice, but I can't afford it; and the company also uses a deceptive practice in marketing same.

Also $4.95 (not postage) was charged for some type of e-newsletter which is automatically check marked when accepting an order of the tea; but which I know I unchecked because I don't like to receive e-mail in general and don't sign up for routine correspondence such as newsletters. I'm sure I unchecked the box just on G.P. Not to confuse the issue, but to be honest, I have received one newsletter only for approximately two years, which is the American Society of Notaries.

Again, I try to avoid receiving new correspondence unless necessary and I did not feel the tea correspondence would be necessary. So, I don't know at this time what will happen at the bank with Wu Yi charging an amount of $59 to my insuffiently funded account at this time. It was "pending" the last I looked. I plan to report it to the bank at this time and to refrain from online ordering.

It seems that online ordering is a haven for getting burnt or at least making mounds of work for oneself in reporting incidents. Thank God, I have received refunds through bank intervention in many cases, but it makes a mess in having account numbers changed, incurring insufficient fund fees which may be returned later after the mess is straightened out, you know. Thank you for your consideration.
