Ripoff, took money and ran

I was referred to this person by a friend of mine. First month of personal training was seamless—great. Second month I prepaid $400 for 12 "sessions". After 4 sessions I injured my back and let Cindy know that I needed to recoup. She said no problem that she would "freeze" my sessions and let her know when I was feeling ready to start working out again.

About 3 weeks passed and I let her know I was ready. She informed me that I would have to pay another $400 to "resign" for the next "month" (Remember that bought "sessions", not "months"). Cindy said that because while I was injured, I had lapsed into the next month and that I had two options. 1. I could pay another $400 and she would tag on my "frozen" sessions to available additional extra sessions during the new month OR 2. She would allow me only 5 of my remaining 8 that were "frozen" without resigning for a new month.

Cindy asks for cash payment because she is in debt up to her ears and overdue on loans—so much so that if I were to give her a money order and she needed to cash it, the bank would just take it to pay her overdue debts. She is hard up for cash and not a truthful person.

Unprofessional. Once asked me to front her $20 to get gas and a starbucks coffee. She did pay it back... Over the next 2 weeks... A few dollars here and there.

She will smoke cigarettes while training you outside in a parking lot, and recommends you drink Starbucks in order to clean out your body!

She is usually late to your appointment and will end early... My typical training time was about 40 minutes.
