Dr. David Mann
Psychologist Unethical and a Rip Off

I read the article about the poor lady who had trouble with this Dr. David Mann of Psychological Services and I too had a HUGE problem with this crooked doctor. Not only did this person lie to me and cheat me out of money but he blackmailed me into paying more money for my report by threatening to withhold my report from the courts. He broke some major medical confidentiality laws when he spoke to my girlfriend and tried to convince her that she should not go out with me and he opened up all my private and confidential files for her to review about my custody case!!! He interviewed her and she said he tried to hit on her and kept telling her how beautiful she was and that she should not be with a man like me. He told me that his intent to interview my girlfriend was for the purpose of finding out what type of a father I was with my son. He NEVER discussed that with her and he simply tried to flirt with her and get her to break up with me.

After we finished our evaluation, this man had the nerve to charge me almost a full $3,000 dollars more than I was quoted and $5,000 more than I was told in court was the amount of money that I was going to have to pay for an evaluation.

Further, this person did NOTHING to help my situation with my child and his mother and vindictively took time and hours away from me because I did not pay him immediately for the $3,000 bill that he sprung on me at the end of our evaluation. My son was devastated that his father was being taken away from him during the school week and he began to have outbursts at school and was going through some major trauma. All of this was due to this person's horrific evaluation and ill fated recommendations.

I am glad to say that my son's mother and myself have worked things out on our own and my son and I get to spend at least 5 or 6 days a week together and he is now excelling in school and socially. After the damage Dr. David Mann put him through, we are very lucky that my son gets to spend almost equal time with me and his personality and happiness shows how healthy he is now becoming after having to endure this traumatic experience.

If anyone has the choice to work with this doctor, I would highly recommend looking at other doctors who are fair and work toward amicable resolutions that help your children, not blackmailing doctors that are vindictive and rotten like Dr. David Mann.
