Wayspa Rips off Affiliate Partners

Wayspa was an affiliate partner through the Linkshare Network. After directing a significant number of clients and Spa Bookings, and accumulating over $2000 (US) in commissions due, payment was never received by Wayspa.

Linkshare cancelled the relationship with Wayspa, and reported that Wayspa made no payments to them or to the affiliates they contracted with. The last conversation indicated Linkshare had turned over the matter to a collectiona agent for the fees owed them, however, the affiliates each contract directly with Wayspa and Wayspa is responsible for payments directly to the affiliates.

Emails to Jeremy Creed were at first answered with excuses and then a request for site info, then another request for the details of the referred bookings, and then promises of payment. His email stated:

"I need the order numbers that were tied to your commissions to verify the sales. Part of our dispute with linkshare involves a problems with reporting. IF you could send that to us we can verify everything and take care of any outstanding amounts."

We sent the complete reports, as requested. The reporting provided was detailed, including dates of bookings and commission owed, as the information was actually generated by Wayspa after transactions were booked and reported via Linkshare based on the information Wayspa provided. The booking info contained no duplications, just simple straightforward reporting on transactions due and owed.

Further requests and follow ups to Jeremy Creed were complete ignored, including the final email where we asked, 'one last time', for a response before taking other action. Obviously, his first responses were just a stalling maneuver.

We must assume were were not the only affiliate who was left unpaid by Jeremy Creed and Wayspa, and hope others who had the same experience post here as well.

Unfortunately, since we are based in the US and Jeremy Creed and Waspa are in Ontario, Canada, taking the matter to small claims court was not an option. We researched and found that even if we were to file in the US and obtain judgement for the amount owed, collecting it from a company in Canada would be cost prohibitive.

So instead we have been left with no recourse but to post this info about being ripped off for our efforts by Jeremy Creed and Wayspa.
