Almighty Cleanser snake oil ripoff

My wife ordered some colon cleanser on line. We received the first shipment 3 months ago for a charge of $60.80. The product didn't work as advertised, but, buyer beware! We ate that one only to have another shipment in the mail and another charge to our credit card for a second shipment.

When I called to complain and tell them I was sending it back, the informed me that my wife had supposedly agreed over the phone to have them ship this snake oil to us every three months, and they had a voice recording of her agreeing to it! I told them that my wife has MS and is mentally incapicated. The "professional" rep told me it didn't matter. I told them that I refused to pay for it and that their practices were deceptive, and I don't pay for merchandise that doesn't work They said that their policy was no refunds and no returns. I sent it back!

I have called my bank and put a stop on the payment to them as this will go to a dispute! This company is a rip off and has unfail trade practices. I will forward this on to the BBB and to our Attorney General in the State of Oregon.
