NCO has broken several laws here in the state of California. My husband was hospitalized suddenly and had a 7 day stay while they did all the testing that they do. I paid all the doctor bills etc, (around$6000) but could not afford the hospital stay of $19,888. I tried to offer payments and the man I spoke to, John Battista, laughed at me and then proceeded to hang up on me. I then found out that they have called my inlaws in two states and my parents in yet another state claiming that they can't get ahold of me. This is a bald faced lie and I offered payments which they refused.

Now that I see so many people on here that have sent in payments and NCO has taken that check information and withdrawn funds that they were not authorized, I'm glad I didn't send any payments.

Good luck getting the money, I have no problem with telling my inlaws and parents and co-workers what has happened. Do they think they will embarrass the money out of me? I'm not sure how they expect that to make more money at the end of the month.in the meantime, I am sending my measily little payments directly to the hospital. It may take years to pay, but that will have to do!
