Lucinda Bassett Refused to cancel shipment after my elderly mother requested they do so

Dusty from Arizona is correct in her assessment of this company!

My 80 year old mother ordered the product they sell (Attacking Anxiety & Depression program) thinking it would only cost $14.00. After she had given them her check number, and bank account routing number, (a big mistake) she confirmed that the only charge would be $14.00. At that point they informed her that there would be 8 payment of about $59.00 dollars each coming out of her checking account, for a total of $500 plus dollars. She asked to cancel and they refused. They told her to just use the product for 30 days and then return it for a full refund.

She called back within an hour and again asked to cancel. The operator again refused to cancel the order, and told her to send the product back and that he would give her an extended trial period. The product arrived within 2 days and they charged her checking account for shipping by the next day!

I called them to complain and to get a Return Authorization number, as per their instructions, and was told to ship the product back and there would be no further charges.

They provided a return label - which I think had a bogus address on it because when I typed it into my online UPS account, it kicked it out and said address not found. I ended up shipping it back to the return address on the box which was in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

This company... Preys on the elderly and should be put out of business. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
