LA "Wait" Loss

I completed the program and not only lost the 15 lbs., but have kept it off for over a year. Yes, I agree that it was an expensive program, but for me I personally needed the motivation of getting 1/2 my money back as an incentive to succeed.

I knew that I had to make a lifestyle change, not just go on a diet. When I followed the program exactly as outlined, including the LA Lite bars, the weight came off. I did not purchase my bars in bulk... I bought what I needed as I went along and stopped consumption of them as soon as I entered the maintenance phase. As a side note, my husband mirrored my program and lost 50 lbs.in the same time period of which he has kept all but 5 lbs. Off for over a year.

My beef with LA Weight Loss is that they should be called LA WAIT Loss... As each time I successfully met the requirement to receive a rebate check it took FOREVER and repeated phone calls to receive the check. I finished the maintenance portion entirely in July '07 and am STILL waiting to receive my last rebate check! It peaves me greatly as I signed a legal contract with them, lived up to my end of it and they are taking their ever-loving time in fulfilling their end and sending my final rebate payment. I have lost much of the respect I had for the program when a company can do that. I understand now that they no longer do rebates, but give a discount off the program price... Not really sure how that works, but I would tell anyone thinking about doing the LA Weight Loss program to ask LOTS of questions BEFORE signing up. Make sure that LA will do what they say they will do or you may find yourself playing games with them in the end like I have experienced. Would I do the program again??? I don't believe that I would do LA Weight Loss again as they have been slow to live up to their end of the contract and I think some of their competitors programs offer equally good results if a person is truly willing to commit to a total lifestyle change in their eating habits.
