Billed debit card non delivery of product zero attempts by company to refund or replace

Approximately six months ago I placed an order with this company for an OTC medication that local vendors in my area no longer carry. The product is known as dexalone, it is just dextromethorphan with none of the buffers or other junk like guafenesin that cough and cold medicines typically include in their formulations and which my body does not tolerate well. I tried this product and it worked great for me. However, I guess dextromethorphan is also commonly abused by teenagers for a high, and since this particular medication is only dextromethorphan it quickly became the "drug of choice" among many high schoolers in my area. This was the reason my local pharmacies discontinued it. I guess this is quite a problem, there's even a website for dextromethorphan abuse run by cough and cold manufacturers, stopmedicineabuse.org. But that is besides the point..

I decided to try to find this product online. I did a quick google search for pharmacies and medichest.com is on the first page of links, and I believe at the time it was a sponsored (highlighted, meaning they paid google to be listed high) link. I found the product, placed an order using a debit card, and was sent an order confirmation. The amount of the order was deducted from my bank account. After two weeks had passed and still no product had arrived, I contacted the company again - their supposed customer service address orders@medichest.com to inquire as to what had happened. I know packages can sometimes get lost, so I was trying to get either a replacement shipment or refund. No response. More time passes, more emails, zero responses. Six months have now passed. I make it a habit to send them an email about once a week to let them know my displeasure just to clog their inbox a bit, but I've just taken this as a $30 lesson. I believe this company discontinued this product also but decided to charge me for it anyway and never deliver it. If there were reputable they would at least respond to my concerns... Saying yes we did ship you this product, here is the tracking #... Its not our responsibility once it leaves our facility blah blah blah and i would have been fine with that! A response just would have been nice! But they do have the gall to spam my email with about 2 come ons a week... I open them and follow the link to opt out of getting this promotional junk email and i still keep getting this crap. Don't do business with this company. I did not find any other rip off reports for this company, so I wanted to get the word out there...
