Ripoff Big Company Adding unspecified money to a non-refundable amount

In January I saw a TV advertisement for Lifestyle lift. It sounded great... And then I got involved with them. Your first time in the office is for a consultation which costs $400.00 and is non-refundable. The total cost of the procedure is $4,000.00, and on that visit they made sure I got a Care Credit card to help pay. The $400.00 was put on the card. My next visit was to meet the Doctor.

On that day, I had my visit which consisted of probably 1/2 hr. At most. Before I left the office They had maxed out the care credit card and I had paid an additional $600.00. A few days after that I was feeling buyers remorse and called them to cancel the procedure.

It took well over two (2) months going back and forth over the phone, being told by the then office manager, who has since been replaced, that they were so busy and would do something when they had the time. After all she had payroll to get out!

After so much aggravation and frustration they sent me a check for $100.00 and made me feel like they were doing me a favor.
They finally cancelled out what was put on the care credit card, of which there was $00.00 non-refundable and told me they had decided to pay it that way. So, ok, out of the 600.00 in cash I had given them I should have gotten 200.00 back.

My last phone call to them (05-09) they told me that it was at their discretion to keep an extra 100.00. Am I the only one who thinks this stinks?
