Bait & switch, sold sex enhancement, delivered breath strips ripoff

I called in response to an ad placed in my local newspaper for a free trial of Viapren Strips, a sexual enhancement product. After being described the product, I was asked to pay $9.95 for shipping & handling to which I agreed.

After all of my information, including my credit card was obtained, I was then informed that I would be receiving this product every 30 days, at a discounted rate. I was told that I could cancel the order at any time and the monthly shipments would stop.

I told the person that I was not interested in the product unless I could try the trial pack without further obligation or cost on my part.in other words, I did not want the burden of calling to stop a shipment that would automatically come to me.

I made it 100% clear that I did not want this product unless I was 100% guaranteed that I would only receive the trial pack and nothing more. I was informed I could not purchase it that way and so they were explicitly told to cancel my order and not to send me the trial pack.

On March 24th I received a trial pack of Viapren Breath Strips along with an insert giving information on using these to enhance your sex life. The actual packaging indicates nothing about this being for increased sex drive, only that these are breath strips for fresh breath

This company is not only defrauding consumers but I am turning a complaint over to the Oklahoma Attorney General's office to see if this company is breaking any laws for false and misleading advertising.

I have also filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals office and also the US Postal Inspector for mail fraud. We can defeat these crooks if we all do the same!
