24 Hour Fitness
Attempted to assault my husband while holding my 20 mth old son ripoff

My husband and I with our 2 infant babies went in to 24 hour fitness in The Woodlands, TX to get some information. After waiting 20 mins. We decided to leave, as we got up to tell the lady we will come back later, an old man came up and said very nasty "I didn't know anyone was up here waiting." Then we decided to go get rates and my husband up front told him since it was the end of Sept that we are interested to start Oct 1. The man (Joey Plummer) threw the book at us, did not explain anything and I started asking questions, he got out a promotional rate. My husband asked if the rate is good for Oct. 1, then the man got nasty and did not make sense at any of his actions "there are 2 people lying at this table and this time I'm not one of them." My husband said, "did you just call me a liar." The guy didn't say anything, my husband picked up my son and said we are leaving.

As we were walking out - he said to my husband "you can piss and moan but that's the truth." My husband angrily turn around and said, I can't believe you are calling me a liar. The guy puffed up his chest and got in my husbands face while he was holding my son about 2 inches from his nose.

I have yet to hear back from anyone in this company. The d.S. M called and said they would investigate but we know that is a lie since we never heard back from them. I was told by my attorney that I should press assault charges on behalf of my son as he endangered my son's well being. We decided not to (maybe a mistake) and thought it was being handled. I guess not. You can't even get a number to corporate office and I would assume they would want to know about this employee and what a liability he is to the company. But, they do not care about their customers.

I talked to another woman today about the incident in my community - she said her friend told her of an old guy that was rude and eratic with her also. She said sounds like the same guy. Maybe he is on steroids or something, the eratic behavior sounds like he is on something or has issues. I still would like to talk to someone high up in corporate about the situation.
