Ripoff bait & switch quoted one price for biopsy surgery after the fact billed and demanded twice amount quoted fraudulent ripoff business dishonest ripoffs

Went to Doctor for lung biopsy, requested quote since Dr. Was non participant in BC/BS. Was quoted $1700. The Dr. Knew exactly what was required before hand. After the surgery I was billed over $3000. I was told the biopsy was a resection. Different name for the same result, a specimen for the pathologist.

Despite my efforts they refused to reduce their fee to the originally quoted amount. They generously knocked off $200. Ha, and I work in the operating room at a different location. A liar and a ripoff!
