Cinergy Health, Juanita From Ft Worth ripoff, false advertising, claimed to insurance Called From Ft Worth Texas

Health & Medicine

I worked at Wells Fargo and had to terminate employment which resulted in the loss of health insurance. I was surfing the Web looking for affordable insurance since I am self employed. I had been contacted by several companies all claiming to have the best rates.

A lady called me the first week in August of this year telling me about this great Health plan. An insurance that was affordable for people who couldn't afford the rising cost of medical these days. It sounded good. She said that I would have coverage for doctor visits, hospital, dental, vision, and prescriptions. She also told me there was no contract, that it was a month to month deal and I could cancel at any time, with no further obligation.

She called me several times. I was in transit from Arizona to Texas when she called my cell phone and couldn't really think about insurance at the time but told her it sounded good, and when I got where I was going, I would call her if I was interested. I got so busy, I didn't call, but she called me several times.

I asked her several times if it was insurance and she said it was. She said it was a PPO and since that is what I had with Wells Fargo, so, I thought it was a good deal. It had a customary deductible, but the thing I didn't think about was that I had to pay the first month with a 100.00 non-refundable setup fee before I could actually see the plan. It didn't dawn on me until a real insurance called me and researched the people then called me back to tell me they were not insurance and that any company that wouldn't let you review all the details of the their plans was not in compliance with Arizona State Law.

I, then, called the person back who phoned me first from Adova to tell her what these insurance people said and she assured me that Adova Health was insurance and that those people were just trying to make a buck. I let it go, then the insurance people called me again to say, they would send me their info. It didn't look a lot different to me until I finally got my packet from Adova. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. 5 visits to the doctor a year for up to 6 people. So that meant someone couldn't get sick or have an injury requiring medical care in year. At $299.00 a month, I could save and cover that cost in a much more lucrative manner.

These people falsely presented themselves to me, not once but, at least 4 or 5 times as an insurance company. PPO must be a very loose term for them to be able to use that to sell their product. It is an out and out scam and I hope that this helps stop their ring of thieving from people who work hard for their money.insurance shoppers, BEWARE...
