Fraudulent Charges Ripoff

Dr. McCoig has reported my wife and I to a collection agency for charges totalling $250.00, which is now a negative listing on both of our credit reports. These charges were for "no-shows", even though cancellation was made in advance. Part of the charges are also for tranferring our file to another PA (ex-partner), even though he refused to transfer the file. I have disputed the charges with him and the collection agency. Neither one will verify to me the legitimacy of the charges. They will only verify as accurate to the credit bureaus. These charges stem from his being upset because his partner left and started her own practice in an opposite part of the city, but some of the patients preferred to keep seeing her, instead.
