VIP Gold Membership Lifetime Membership Contract being ignored

In 1987 we bought the "Lifetime VIP Gold Membership ". We signed a contract, and it stated that after we paid it off we could retain our membership for a low yearly fee. Which we kept the yearly payment taken care of.
This year we were informed that they no longer offered that membership and we have to pay monthly. I don't think that is fair as we have used the facilty and we made our payments.
What can be done about this?
Seems to me like that would be a Breach of Contract.
