Ripoff scam fraud

This was a terrible experience, in fact I have delt with this so long that I dont even want to write about it. But here goes. I canceled my subscription to ballys in march I paid a cancelation fee that they did not tell me about at signup, it was in the contract hidden but there, so I paid it.

They scammed me into paying like three extra months but to avoid things I paid as well. I had already wasted like 4 hours of my time talking to people that have no intention in helping you out. So whatever, I thought it was canceled, but one year later, a collection agency starts sending me mail saying I owe 900 dollars. They say I never canceled and a whole bunch of things.

I went to the bank and got my cancelation check. (it said cancelation and paid to ballys) so first they were saying they had not received the check, but when I told them about the copy I had, they said they did have it and even though it was cashed it was not enough I needed proof to show I lived at least 20 miles from a ballys.

I lived in South America at the time, I faxed, passport, ids, like 80 bucks on faxes, they gave me fax numbers that did not work, I had confirmations of received faxes they said they didnt recieve.
