Last year, I received information about a spa getaway in the Washington, D.C. Area hosted by a company called Spa Services 2 Go. The hostess of the spa services was a woman named Annetta Cornelius and I spoke with her several times and she faxed me the forms for me to fill out. After I completed all the forms, I submitted a money order for $180 (a discounted rate) for 2 full days of spa services at a ranch in Virginia. All I would have to do is be at the designated pickup place on a weekend both Annetta and I chose.

Annetta told me that the vacation would be good for any weekend as the business was looking to expand and get more people interested in the vacations. When I planned to go, I had to cancel because my father got sick and subsequently died of brain cancer. Taking a vacation was farthest from my mind, so I contacted Annetta and told her that I had to cancel. She assured me that I would still be able to use my vacation at my convenience, as her business booked spa getaways every weekend and not just during the warm months.in addition, she also told me that I had the option of getting a complete refund in the event I found that I may never be able to go.

Since September, I have been trying to get in touch with Annetta and her business to no avail because they refuse to call me back or return any of the emails I send them. The website is still in effect and the answering machine that took calls for the business is still operating. I have left numerous calls and emails, but no luck. Now, I am beyond angry and wanting my money back—I want to educate the public about the business called Spa Services 2 Go to let people know that the operators do bad business that could leave you investing money in a relaxing weekend that will never come to fruition.
