I orderered the FREE trial TruGenix Hoodia for the shipping amount of only $8.97 in Mar. From the internet site.

TruGenix is a complete scam. After I received my trail offer (bottle), and realized the product did not work, I called the 800 number (3/8/06) to cancel my auto shipment— I was given the procedure for canceling the service on line. They gave the website address (efitnessclubhouse.com) and they gave me a username and a password. I was then told to click on the "My Account" button and click the "Blue Link" at the bottom of the screen. I would then be directed as to what to do from there. I did all of that and received a screen that state, "Update Successful! - Your Subscription has been canceled: 3/8/06 1:37: 24 PM

On 3/14/06 I noticed a charge of $46.90 in my bank account. I immediately called Tru Genix and spoke to Trisha. I explained to her that I had cancelled my service on 3/8/06 and I noticed a charge of $46.90 in my bank account (3/14/06) from Tru Genix, and I wanted to know why. She asked me how did I cancel the service. I explained the process I went through (per their instructions) and her response was "when you called in, did you specifically say that you wanted to cancel your auto ship" I told her yes.

She said the reason why I'm asking is that it looks like you canceled your E Curve Fitness program and not your pills. I said, well I did exactly what I was told to do after, I asked for instructions on how to cancel my "AUTO SHIPMENT". She said, did you receive a confirmation number?" I said no, all I received was a screen that stated "Update Successful! - Your Subscription has been canceled: 3/8/06 1:37: 24 PM and I printed it (screen) out.

She then said if you called and asked us to cancel your "auto ship" you would have received a confirmation number. I said, I did ask for you (Tru Genix) to cancel my auto ship and they directed me to the website. She said again, if you called and asked us to cancel your "auto ship" you would have received a confirmation number. I said well I didn't. Can I receive a credit for this charge?

Her response was, "We can not issue a credit without a confirmation number. I said, this is ridiculous! I would like to speak to someone else, because this is unacceptable. She said I am the only person you can speak to. I am the supervisor and I'm telling you what we can do. I said, well you have to have a manager, she replied, I am the supervisor and I'm telling you, you can not receive a credit with out a confirmation number".

I said, so I'm being held at fault, because you guys did not provide me with a confirmation number? She paused and said, "I'm not saying anyone is at fault". I said so what are you saying? She repeated you can not receive a credit with out a confirmation number.

I then asked for the home office phone number and she said that they have an address she could give me. I asked for the address and she gave me: Owners of UltraLife Fitness, P.O. Box 95668, South Jordan, UT 84095.

I said, this is really bad business. I then asked her for her last name and she said she did not give out her last name, that she was the only Trisha in the office. I then asked her if she had an operator number and she said we don't have operator numbers, I have a cancellation number I can give you.

I said well what is your cancellation number? She replied 35,000. I said, so is this the number I use for my cancellation and her reply was "Yes". You will not be billed, nor should you receive any further shipments. I asked her if this is the number that I should use when I am referring to her? Her reply, "yes".

I then asked her who did I speak to on the 8th of March when I called in to cancel. She said, "I was the person you spoke to, that's why I know you didn't call in and say you wanted to cancel your auto ship".

I chuckled a little and said Why am I not surprised". She replied I have never, not given a customer a cancellation number if they specifically said they wanted to cancel their auto ship.

I said ok, I will be filing fraud charges against this company and I said good bye.

I immediately contacted my bank and told them I wanted to file a fraud charge against Tru Genix, as this scam had been taking place with many others, the bank informed me that they would send out a Dispute Form, I would need to sign it and return it back to them and this would get the process started.

I asked would this prevent them from making any other charges on my account and they said unfortunately, no. They can't really do anything, because it was through my debit card.

They gave me a different number to call for Tru Genix to see if I could get a little further than before. The number they gave me was 888-254-0054. I called the number as soon as I finished with the bank and received a fax machine.

WHAT A JOKE! The really bad thing is that you get charged for products that you don't want and they don't do what they advertise them to do.
