I ordered the product through Publisher's Clearing House as part of a sweepstakes. I went to their website for a free trial sample for $1.99 (shipping cost) on January 30th and charged it to my debit card with Bank of America.
I received the package on February 15th with 1 bottle and shipment receipt, that's all. I checked my account and found out that they charged my card on February 14th for $99.90 without permission and before I received the trial product. I called LeanLifePM on Feb. 16th that afternoon to cancel the order and only encountered an answering machine to leave a name & number, which they never called be back. I called several times and got the same message.
I called the Bank of America that evening to put in a claim on the Feb. 16th for unauthorized charge. Today, Feb 24th, I received another package from them, so I emailed the company telling them I am sending the package back and to get a full refund back to my account. I happened to call the company and spoke to Ivy and she told me that I cannot get my refund back. I told Ivy that the pills I took had caused a bad reaction and I went to the hospital on Feb. 22nd because of it, and she questioned my truthfulness.
The hospital revealed that my Blood PT/INR level had exceeded the recommended levels for patients with DVT. The attending doctor told me that the ingredients of the product could have contributed to the condition from which I suffered that necessitated by visit to the emergency ward of my local hospital.
Ivy informed me that because she is simply employed as a call center representative for the company, that she could not authorize any refunds, and that I should email the corporation, and that the phone number provided on the website was the call center which did not respond.
