I had an appointment to address ongoing pelvic pain with Dr. Dillard. She strolled into the examining room 45 minutes after the appointment time. I came to the appointment armed with information from other doctors, reading books, and internet research, and asked intelligent informed questions about my condition. She became frustrated when she could not answer my questions and accused me of being aggressive and belligerent.

I explained that although the process of undergoing many tests and not finding the cause of my pain was frustrating, I was not frustrated with her personally, but extremely concerned about my health as I am afraid that I have cervical cancer. I also explained that I was only trying to advocate for my body and my health and take a proactive approach to my healthcare by being assertive.

She continued to accuse me of being aggressive and belligerent, rambled on for twenty minutes about how uncomfortable I was making her feel, and told me she had gone to medical school and that it was not my place to question her or tell her what tests to perform. During this monologue I truly felt that this woman was trying to bully and belittle me, instead of having empathy and compassion for my situation her only concern was to put me in my place for being uppity and asking too many questions.

She seems to have extreme power and control issues and seemed almost paranoid, like she really thought I was out to get her personally. She is completely unprofessional and really does not seem to have the right mindset for a doctor. She refused to refer me to another doctor for medical testing I desperately need, saying that she did not like my tone when I asked her to do so and that I couldn't tell her what to do.

I think this woman is psychologically disturbed and needs counseling. I would not recommend that anyone choose her as a doctor.
