I suspected that this might be a scam because I was actually filling out a survey to receive a "free" Best Buy gift certificate.in order to receive this gift I had to click on two offers - LeanLife was one of them.

Due to the way the webpage had been acting, I was not sure if my transaction had gone through.

I pulled up the page and got the email. After I emailed the company, and got no response, I assumed that it had not gone through.

Well to make a long story short (er), I received a bottle, and in less than another month, they mailed me 3 more, and charged me 99.90.

I called a number that I had pulled up online, and was placed on hold for over 10 min, and "automatically" disconnected after "recording my information".

I also emailed the company, but they have not responded.

I called my credit card company, and we attempted a conference call. We gave up after holding for five minutes.

Summary - I had to suspend my account (at my own descretion) to prevent further charges until this investigation is over. I would advise anyone not to respond to "free" offers if it requires giving your credit card information. If you have to pay, it is not free.
