I placed an order with Direct Diet Pills, knowing they have a non-refundable $9.95 "fee". But I ordered anyway because there was no shipping and the order totalled $102.95, which is less than I usually pay. A couple of days later I checked my status on the site which said "order pending cancellation". I didn't understand because this had never happened on other sites. I figured OK I got ripped for $9.95. So I emailed them (numerous times) to inquire how long it would take to credit my $93.00 to my credit card. I never received an answer! They have 2 phone # (407) 339-1331 and toll free 888-855-7455. The only reply you get on both is some music and and an occasional message stating, "your phone call is important to us, please hold on". I used the toll free number, put it on speaker phone for over 2 hours and never got a person. (I hope they like their phone bill)! There is one more thing of interest, I did received an auto response-no not rely in response to an email I wrote them threatening to report them to usacomplaints.com I received it immediately after sending it. They said a representative from customer solutions would contact me with in 24 business hours. That is suppose to be a "computer response" but its the first I've gotten from them. Apparently you guys have some CLOUT! I'll keep you posted.
