Misdiagnosis, bad medicine for children

During the time from 1997 through 2000 my daughter was treated at this facility. We continually would take her with a bad cough and congestion in her upper chest. The doctors would check her, hear the congestion and then either tel us to give her some cough medicine or would give a perscription for anti-biotics. Neither of which worked.

It was not until after we moved away from the Charlotte area that my daughter was admitted into a hospital for a week. She was diagnosed with untreated Asthma. She had to take steroids for almost 2 years to combat the growth of the Asthma.

I think they just keep you coming without referrals so as to get a greater return from the HMOs for not sending sick children to specialists. DON'T LET MONEY RUIN OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.
