When my daughters were born 7 weeks early we knew there would be a good chance they would have to go on oxygen. After visiting the pediatrician we left their office with oxygen from Apria. We trusted that this was not only the right decision but the right company as we had no experience with in-home health care.

Since we returned the equipment I have called into the Apria office several times over the past few months. Both of my daughters were on oxygen for a few weeks after they were born. All of the tanks and equipment were picked up on March 22. Since then we have been billed monthly for services that we are not utilizing. Each month we receive a bill I call the office. Each time I call I was treated very rudly by customer service agents. I was told that I would only get a call back if we still owed money. I have yet to receive a phone call back and I still receive monthly bills. I have faxed in the receipt we received when the equipment was picked up 3 different times. I am sure Apria also has records indicating that no oxygen has been delivered to my home for months! I have spoken to Pam Wheeler, Terry, and Katie C to name a few people. Not only are they billing me but they continue to bill my insurance company as well. To add insult to injury your company has now sent both of my 9 month old daughters to collections!

Now after filing with the BBB I find the following on their web site regarding Apria:

How is it possible that companies can continue to bill you and your insurance company for services you are NOT receiving. On top of that they are sending my daughters to collections. I have spent hours trying to resolve this issue. I am at a loss for what to do next.
