Inc. Ripoff! Dishonest, fraudulent billing

I was contacted by an agent regarding health insurance, as i am uninsured. I was told that I could receive insurance for $198.00 per month and could cancel at anytime.

This sounded like a good offer. I used my moms debit card for the down payment requesting all other premiums be billed to me. The reason for this being my mom had recently died and we were trying to close the account. The agent said this would be no problem.

I was told the first premium would be $208.00 to be taken out of the account and then be billed $198.00 billed to me on the fifteenth of each month. When I received the statement on my moms account I noticed that on Jan. 10 the amount of $208.00 was withdrawn. Then on Jan. 24 another $198.00 was withdrawn from the account.

I faxed a letter on the first of February cancelling the insurance as the second amount made my moms account overdrawn. I added $200.00 to the account so I could close it out without any activity after two weeks.

I went to close her account on February 15. I received a call from my moms bank that before her account was closed another $198.00 was deducted from her account. Now after giving the bank this ammount I don't have money for my moms headstone.

I called Health Plan Administrators and talked with a lady named Tammy. She was very rude and stated that thats the way the company does their premiums. She also stated that she never got my cancellation request. I have faxed the request to them again.

Now broke and unable to pay bills or finish my moms funeral expenses I am devastated. If you are contacted by anyone from Health Plan Administrators, Inc or TIG Premier Insurance donot take this insurance out. They lie about everything, even not telling you that it is only short term insurance.
