Governor John Kasich
Mary Taylor extol their 2012 achievements except for the State Medical Board where the Director resigned, huge monies continue to be spent on ridiculous 20yr investigations, 100s of physicians have their licenses

Health & Medicine

It's Christmas and the Ohio State Medical Board continues the suspension of at least a good stack of physicians, with no patient complaints, for political reasons from 'making too much of bad medical care' by reporting it - to complete fabrications like not pleasing Dr. Nice or sending him enough referrals. Dr. Nice didn't get the referrals because no fewer than 700 staff physicians at Hillcrest Hospital could not trust his judgment on anything - but no has checked this fact. Even Anita Steinbergh admitted that he was not a very good orthopedic - so why is he licensed and practicing?

Calling Governor Kasich, you get hung up on - even though the care that he allows is bad for women patients and women MDs - fractures ripening, no blood work, experimental casts - Governor Kasich wouldn't know good care from bad care - because he's medically not knowledgeable. Nor does he know what goes on at the State Medical Board of Ohio - as no one knows - it's all 'confidential.' Mary Taylor could be asked to review the BUDGET at the State Medical Board - if they had one. The current budget is not working. Where is the Financial Report for the State Medical Board broken down by case?

But it's Christmas, and about 100 probably 'innocent' physicians need to have their cases dismissed at the State Medical Board of Ohio - there are problems - and every Governor is aware of the problems at the Ohio State Medical Board except Governor Kasich. These physicians want to be 'home' for Christmas, and have their reputations back. A physician falsely accused because she objected to awful care - needs to be back in practice. But it's a joke to Governor Kasich and his staff. And Mr. Whitehouse knows/knew what is/was going on, but he isn't testifying about anything - so what he knows are the problems are just not helpful to any legislator like Tom Patton. Ask Mr. Whitehouse what is going on Tom Patton.

Mr. Whitehouse resigned, but Dr. Lance Talmadge, and Dr. Anita Steinbergh need to resign - for fixing cases for a decade or more - for withholding needed medical care from physicians falsely accused until they lie and admit the Board's case - even though it means that they won't get medical care for what they have. They tell physicians that the Medical Board never admits a mistake, that you have to lie to get your license back and go along - but that doesn't work.

There's never a Medical Board Report. Mr. Whitehouse recently was allowed to resign the Executive Director position, without questioning as to what is going on. Governor Kasich didn't meet with him for an 'exit' report. No legislator met with him, and this includes Tom Patton, who can get after the Mayor's Courts - when the Medical Board is much more important - question of priorities, of leadership, of 'husbanding resources' in the wrong places.

If Tom Patton wants to learn Medical Terminology - he has a woman MD he can ask to educate his staff. But can Tom Patton take the challenge, a short course run by a MENSA MD, can he measure up to her knowledge and the knowledge that he needs to reform the State Medical Board?

The OIG doesn't understand (Office of Inspector General), because they don't know medical terminology either. So Mr. Whitehouse walks with the secrets of the leadership and management deficiencies. One would think that the Ohio House would request that Mr. Whitehouse give a 'State of the Medical Board' question and answer session.

It's Christmas, and a woman MD who nearly lost her life to a missed thyroid diagnosis needs her life back. Ms. Anderson may be talented, but is relatively inexperienced except in muckracking into physician lives - that cost lives in Benghazi.

It's Christmas, MDs with no patient complaints - who just irked colleagues because they wanted to have care done the right way - need to have their medical licenses returned. The Medical Board in some cases gave uninvestigated complaints to physicians & hospitals to stir up business - against state law.
