Bought the system and it wont play

I bought the brand new Guitar Hero 5 sport for my ps 2. I acquired the overall game house simply to discover it'll not perform about the program. I did so all of the difficulty shooting needs to no success. I subsequently delivered the game for a different one considering it had been the sport. Well it wasn't and about 20 minutes before I acquired off the telephone with Sony simply to notice the machine won't perform it until I invest either 45.00 to exchange methods or 65.00 to possess QUARRY FIXED. Are you kidding me!!! I used nearly a 100.00 to listen to incidentally invest 45-65 more. I'm dumb-founded by this and my PS2 may be the newer edition and my buddy in laws program may be the older edition also it operates on his!!! Am I alone within this or what...
