Virus 2009 scam

A fee for 49.95 turns up on our charge card assertion that people obtained this month (feb), displaying that people bought anti virus application out of this organization. Clearly it was a fraud, but I actually donot understand how they got my creditcardnumber (officially). I waited on-hold for long enough, i imagine they'll return my cash, but I am suspicious. I believe it'd be good to determine some of these scammers get existence in jail or anything. That might be an excellent illustration for that others.
