I am discussed with what the associates and the credit department at the Brick.in February I was approved for a purchase at The Brick. During this process the sales person asked me if I needed consumer protection and/or warranty on the product. I did not need the consumer protection on the card (they charge over $1 per $100 per month on the card) but a warranty would be fine. Now, being July, I took a look at my statement (which is not due until Feb) and noticed that they have been charging me over $25 per month for this consumer protection that I did not require or ask for. When I called The Brick credit department and simply asked to have this cancelled, one of the managers there, was the most ignorant and condescending individuals I have ever encountered in my life. He said I signed it and knew what I was getting. Now, let%u2019s be realistic, you know at the stores the sales people just say sign here... Here... And here... Since you have already gone over all of the particulars (verbally) most do not question what they are signing again. It is a good thing that the extra $150 they charged me is not going hurt me, however there are people who cannot afford to be charged for something they did not want or need. This is so disgusting that they would treat people this way. I was happy with The Brick in the past, but I will never set foot inside there store again.
