Target customer service complaint review - Terrible Customer Service

This is unusual for me, but having back to back bad experiences have made me think twice about shopping at Target. My husband and I went to the Target in Colorado on Havana to purchase a new TV and stand. As there were a small group of associates socializing, I asked for assistance. Still, while we are waiting there to obtain information if the product was available, they continued their conversation as if it did not matter. After a couple of attempts and tired of hearing their conversation, we went to the store manager. She was extremely helpful, and saw already what was going on. She proceeded to help us, and even found the original product we were looking to purchase after being told it was out of stock. We bought out TV and other items, and left it as a one time situation. However, my husband had returned a couple of days later looking for a Sled, he said it was the same thing. No one knew what you wanted, had to go to different people for assistance, and Customer (Guest) Service was completely useless. There have been small similar situations that I had experience, but it just keeps getting worse and worse. We are their to make a purchase and be on our way. No one wants to hear personal conversations, be told that the product is not available when it was, and made to go to 4 other people, and departments to see what is going on. Even when he informed them that he had already asked and they did not know and had sent them in their direction, no one offered to go to the next step, or call a department manager or store manager to see. With today's economy, every customer counts. My husband refuses to return, as he is one not to say anything, just walk away. And from many years of experience, they are the worse kind because they will not return and will make sure to pass on their feelings/thoughts to others.
