False advertising

On August 29 I created me a grocery list of items which I required and so I visited the neighborhood WalMart, Shop # 0007 situated at: 9053 Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR 72120. Through my buying I looked over the filing units, acquired one, the cost about the ledge stated $32.97. I completed my buying and surely got to the check-outs and needed to delay 15 / 20 units in-line to obtain examined, the cashier called up all my products ($88) after which scanned the bar-code for that filing case; called up $44.88. I named it to her interest so she required a supervisor for help and also the supervisor explained that $44.88 was the right cost therefore I proceeded to inform him the cost on shelf stated $32.97; he'dnot I'd like to contain it for that cost published about the ledge, may be the named fake marketing? May somebody that understands provide me some guidance?
